Bijzonder mooie handgemaakte soapstone (speksteen) hanger met de afbeelding van een wolf en veer.

De kleur is groen-grijs/wit en de afmeting is 19 cm x 6 cm x 1 cm en komt inclusief een certificaat van de native artist.

Deze hanger is gekocht op het Six Nations Reservaat in Ontario in Canada.

The Wolf To the Native people the wolf is the “Guardian of the night”. Trough his faithful presence and watchful eye he will guard against any harm and assure all the peaceful night. Native people lived in spiritual harmony with the natural world. They believed everything possessed a soul or spirit and that they were given a special purpose by the Great Spirit. The wolf is known for its cunning nature and it’s ability to survive against all the odds. It is also known as a very protective animal-one that always puts his family of cubs first. The wolf clan is very respected in Iroquois societty. It is strong and continues to his day. The wolf gathers her strenght from her earth. It lives in the earth, in it’s den, and derives it’s sustenance from the earth. The earth is known as our Mother, for she sustains and nourishes. The wolf is the protector of the family. It represents connection ans sustance.
